The Douglas Company Breaks Ground on the New Brooklyn Pointe Assisted Living and Memory Care Community

    HOLLAND, OH, September 22, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Douglas Company, General Contractor, announces the start of construction on Brooklyn Pointe, a new state-of-the-art assisted living and memory care community located in Brooklyn, Ohio. Groundbreaking took place in September of 2017, with the completion of this exciting new community anticipated in September of 2018.

The 68,136 square foot assisted living and memory care community developed by Brooklyn Pointe, LLC, will consist of a single-story, 26-unit memory care building in addition to a two-story assisted living building offering a total of 56 assisted living one bedroom studio suites. This $11 million senior community will feature a variety of amenities, including an arts and crafts area, spa, chapel, bistro and dining area, wellness center, sunroom, and lounges. The exterior layout consists of two courtyards, a firepit, and greenhouse. Brooklyn Pointe was designed by Davison Smith Certo Architects, Inc. to bring a new standard of senior living to the Brooklyn area.
