TEMPE, AZ, October 18, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Arizona Association of Community Managers (AACM), an Arizona based organization committed to raising the level of community care, announced that five AAM team members were nominated for the esteemed G.E.M. Awards (Guiding Excellence in Management), two of which received an award.
The G.E.M. Awards are a prestigious set of industry specific accolades given to recognize and honor the individual efforts of Community Managers and additional association management professionals that have gone above and beyond their normal daily duties to their association clients and respective companies.
G.E.M. Award categories include, Manager of the Year, Humanitarian of the Year, Rising G.E.M., Perseverance, CAASP - Excellence in Service and Instructor of the Year. AAM Community Managers Rahul Bhatt, Jennifer Thomasson and Dave Wisnosky were nominees for the 2017 Manager of the Year Award.
AAM On-Site Community Manger, Kim Gonzalez, earned the Rising G.E.M. award. This category was designed to acknowledge Community Managers that have less than two years of community manager experience. Nominees for this award repeatedly display excellence in all that they do, regularly exceed expectations of the communities in which they serve and possess an unwavering passion for the HOA industry.
AAM Regional Vice President of Tempe/Tucson Operations, Pam Hilliard, received the Instructor of the Year award. This category was created to recognize an individual who exhibits a strong commitment to, and involvement with, AACM and its Education Program. The nominees for this award maintain an engaging and respectful relationship with students, which they demonstrate through their extensive knowledge of the subject matter.
