DALLAS, TX, December 16, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Individuals who made outstanding contributions to the AIA Dallas Chapter in 2017 were recognized at this month's 2017 Holiday Party and Chapter Awards. The purpose of the AIA Dallas Young architect award is to recognize emerging talent in the local architectural industry. Young Architects are professionals who have been licensed as Architects for 10 years or less, regardless of their age. This local young architect award honors one individual a year who has shown leadership and made significant contributions to the profession early in their career. "AIA Dallas, the seventh largest chapter of The American Institute of Architects, empowers architects to excel and impact their practice, profession, and community. AIA Dallas has a membership base of more than 2,000 members and 300 architectural firms." Jeramie Rittiluechai truly appreciates the AIA Dallas Architect Awards' recognition and is excited for the future of Dallas Architecture.
Jeramie is an active member of the Dallas architecture community and has been involved with the Dallas chapter of the AIA for a number of years. Jeramie volunteered his time serving as chair of the AIA Dallas Young Architects Forum (YAF). Under his leadership, the YAF grew and through its success was eventually merged with the AIA Dallas Associates Committee into the current AIA Dallas Young Professionals Network. Rittiluechai is also a long time member of the AIA Dallas Small Firm Round Table. Most Recently, Jeramie is serving on Texas Task Force 2 as an Urban Search and Rescue Structural Specialist.
During Hurricane Harvey Jeramie was deployed for a few weeks with Texas Task Force 2 Squad 7 to help hurricane victims and assist with rescue efforts. Texas Task Force 2 is made up of first responders from throughout the Dallas Fort Worth area. Structural Specialists assess immediate structural conditions and assist with other duties working as first responders during disaster conditions.
Jeramie dedicates his career to creating Architecture based on four principles (Architectural Approach, Environmental Response, Economic Function and Social Responsibility). Jeramie's practice at Rittiluechai Architecture PC focuses on developing a client base that believes in responsible design that positively affects the environment, society, and the wellbeing of all. His goal is to positively influence the development of architecture as both art and science by incorporating a rational response to design, operating with integrity, and striving to create a positive impact in our world today with a promise for an improved tomorrow. Jeramie also encourages his staff to be actively involved in multiple organizations outside of the office. Jeramie strongly believes volunteerism allows for continuing growth the architecture profession.

AIA (Associate of the Year), Porcelanosa (Industry Allied Partner Award), Peter DeLisle PhD Hon TxA (Presidential Citation for Exemplary Service to the Profession through Leadership Development), Khang Nguyen Assoc. AIA (Presidential Citation for Outstanding Volunteering Efforts), Frances Yllana (Presidential Citation for the Creative Design of Columns) and Samantha Markham, AIA and Cindy Rosewell (Presidential Citation for the Creation of Relevant and Engaging Programing - Empowering).
