Ambient Edge Heating/Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Inc. Announces New Scholarship for Students Affected by Cancer

    KINGMAN, AZ, February 09, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ambient Edge Heating/Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Inc. is pleased to announce the opening of its application period for its new scholarship opportunity. Through the generosity of Ambient Edge's We Care Program, the $1000 Students Affected by Cancer Scholarship will be awarded for the 2019 academic year to one eligible college undergraduate or graduate student who has been affected by cancer. The recipient will be announced and notified spring of 2019.

"Cancer is a tough adversary,'' Steve Lewis, President, and Sales Division Manager said. "Many Ambient Edge customers, coworkers, friends, and families have been affected by cancer and this scholarship is a wonderful way to support those who battle this difficult disease."

This scholarship provides college undergraduate or graduate school students that have been affected by cancer with additional resources to support their educational pursuits. Whether those students are survivors, current patients, or have been a support system for loved ones battling the disease this scholarship can help alleviate some of the financial burdens and help them pursue their dreams.

To be eligible for the $1,000 Ambient Edge Students Affected by Cancer Scholarship, a student must: 1) have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, 2) be enrolled at an accredited U.S. college or graduate school, and 3) have been affected by cancer in some way. Applicants will be required to submit transcripts, a formal application, and an essay on a specific topic. The deadline for submissions is December 31, 2018.
