"Shipping containers? As offices? It can't be done, they said. Well I'm here to tell ya it can be done, and we've done it, and to celebrate our funky creation," chuckles Ron Sturgeon, owner.
FORT WORTH, TX, February 28, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Fort Worth is welcoming its very own business park made entirely from shipping containers and everyone is set to benefit. Small business owners looking for commercial property for rent, art lovers, pet rescuers, a growing community, and the whole family, will get to experience a truly unique Graffiti and Street Art festival.
Local entrepreneur and self-made millionaire, Ron Sturgeon, has never been one to embrace the status quo. Perhaps that comes from having been homeless.
"I've been hearing people tell me it's too difficult all of my life," says Sturgeon. "There are tons of excuses for not accomplishing a goal, but most of the time those excuses are nothing more than a white flag signaling you gave up. I embrace challenges, and this business park was one challenge I happily embraced."
The business park Sturgeon is referring to is Box Office Warehouse Suites, and what made it a challenge was the fact it is the first, and only, business park in the Fort Worth area made entirely from shipping containers.
"Oh, you should have heard the comments once I announced my intentions," Sturgeon says. "Shipping containers? As offices? It can't be done, they said. Well I'm here to tell ya it can be done, and we've done it, and to celebrate our funky creation we're celebrating the funkiest art form there is, graffiti and street art. Bring the whole family down here, have a fun day of food and live music, tour our container offices, and all the proceeds will be given to SPCA of Texas. Don't ever tell me it's too difficult to do!"
The event will include live music from four local bands, a DJ between bands, food, craft vendors, a St. Patty's Day Costume Contest for dogs, games for the kids provided by Hangman's House of Horrors, and prize drawings provided by a long list of local businesses. There will even be the SPCA of Texas mobile adoption vehicle there filled with furry friends looking for a new home.
Street art on a shipping container small-business park? Turns out it is possible, and you can see it at Box Office Warehouse Suites this March.
The Arts Festival will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sturgeon wants to make sure everyone knows dogs are welcome. $5 per person, kids under 12 are free, all proceeds go to SPCA of Texas.
Box Office Warehouse Suites is located at 1953 Golden Heights Road, just north of Fort Worth in the Alliance area, just off the Interstate 35 at the Golden Triangle Exit. The Festival will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on March 17, 2018. More information available on www.BoxOfficeWarehouseSuites.com.
