Know the camp's current care package policy!
FAIRFIELD, CT, June 06, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Are you are planning on send a care package to your favorite camper this year? Here are a few simple tips to avoid having your package arrive late or not at all:
1.Know the camp's current care package policy! Most camps have a list of forbidden items such as food and electronics, but more and more camps are limiting the number and the size of the packages that your child can receive. If your package doesn't cut the mustard, it will be sent back!
2.Check the address! Two or three times! Lots of camps have both winter and summer addresses. They might also have a separate address for packages. Large camps may require bunk/cabin numbers. Some camps ask that you include the dates that your child is attending.
3.Plan on an extra day for delivery with in the camp! Most camps do not delivery packages on the same day that they are received.
4.Include your daytime phone number when ordering with an online company! Sigh. We get several orders each day with incorrect credit card info, undeliverable addresses, or missing gift card messages. The sooner we can correct the mistakes, the faster we can get the package out!
5.We recommend USPS Priority Mail. Priority take 1-3 business days and those postal workers are great with remote locations!
Now that you have your merit badge in creating a camp care package, go out and send some love to your favorite camper today!
