CHARLOTTE, NC, August 12, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Running an effective homeowners association takes a village, and a key player in these efforts is the community manager. Community managers provide a host of support and guidance to the board and overall community. Two Kuester Management Group managers were recently recognized by the Community Associations Institute-North Carolina (CAI-NC) for their outstanding commitment and management of the communities with which they partner.
"We are proud that two of our own, Brady Hedglin and Christine Hast, received 2019 Manager Excellence Awards from the CAI-NC," says Bryan Kuester, President of Kuester Management Group. "It is another testament to the hard work, dedication, professionalism, and service they provide to the communities with which they work."
Brady Hedglin has five years of community management experience and oversees 11 properties encompassing 1,887 doors. He is a Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) and an Association Management Specialist (AMS). Hedglin was recognized for his outstanding professionalism and exceptional problem solving and communication skills. He brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to these properties.
Christine Hast has nine years of community management experience and also holds her CMCA and AMS certifications. She is the on-site manager for Carolina Preserve by Del Webb at Amberly, a 400-acre 55+ active adult community with 1,360 homes, 2,200 residents, and five private HOA park areas. Hast works closely with the board and the association's 126 club and group leaders. She manages all operational functions of the HOA allowing the board to focus its efforts on strategic planning, budgeting, and investing.
"Both Brady and Christine are incredible assets to Kuester and the communities we serve, and we are thrilled to have them as part of our team," says Kuester. "We are committed to ensuring that our community managers excel in communicating, collaborating, and supporting each and every association, and Brady and Christine exemplify this dedication."
While community managers do not create rules and regulations for HOAs, they are critical in ensuring that the decisions of the board are fairly and consistently executed and enforced, that members receive timely assistance, and that the HOA remains in compliance with current regulations and best practices. Community managers provide boards with a host of resources and training opportunities so that they can better serve their members. In addition, they often facilitate day-to-day operations allowing boards to focus on more pressing issues that cannot be delegated.
"Partnering with a community manager is a great idea for associations of all sizes because it empowers them to operate as effectively, efficiently, and knowledgably as possible," says Kuester. "Kuester is proud that Brady and Christine provide such a shining example of the incredible work that can be done when HOAs and community managers work together."
