SAMMAMISH, WA, March 04, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Shanda Taylor-Boyd, Nurse (Retired) from the U.S. Army, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of nursing.
Ms. Taylor-Boyd has more than 23 years of professional experience, and excels in psychiatric nursing and nursing soldiers. She became involved in her profession because of the knowledge she gained in the Reserve Officers' Training Corps program. The most rewarding aspect of her career is serving her country, and she attributes her success to her perseverance.
Ms. Taylor-Boyd earned her Master of Human Relations from The University of Oklahoma in 2002, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Washington in 1994 and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Eastern University in 1985. She is affiliated with the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and the National Association for Black Veterans, Inc. She volunteers with Youth for Christ/USA, March of Dimes Foundation, the Disabled American Veterans, and The Red Hat Society, Inc.
