Greater Ottumwa Partners in Progress Launches Redesigned Website

    OTTUMWA, IA, April 22, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- At the start of the year, the Ottumwa Area Chamber of Commerce and the Ottumwa Economic Development Corporation merged. Now, they recently released a consolidated website for their new organization- Greater Ottumwa Partners in Progress (GOPIP).

The new website has content that will be attractive to a variety of audiences at the local and national level, depending on the topic they search. In particular, the website will capture the attention of site selectors and commercial realtors for business relocation and expansion, as well as showcase its investors/members, events, and services.

"Building a new website is hard enough but consolidating the best of two separate websites can be almost as difficult. We're one voice now, and content and messaging has to be consistent," said Sharon Stroh, VP of Industrial Development and Organizational Communication.

GOPIP selected Golden Shovel Agency to redesign the website. The national economic development communications firm is recognized for its award-winning design and expertise in business and workforce attraction.

GOPIP's new work plan focuses on streamlined operations and improved functionality in the corporation. The reorganized partnership will rely on the strength and skills of existing staff. Organizational assets such as land, building, and financial accounts will be merged as well.
