As I am a proud Black woman entrepreneur, I am also very proud of being an Alumnus of an HBCU, Morgan State University.
CHARLOTTE, NC, March 11, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- College can be undoubtedly expensive and any assistance with the cost of education can make a difference in a young student's life. Candice Nicole, the Founder and CEO of Candice Nicole Public Relations (CNPR) remembers when she was in college and wanted to become a part of the solution by contributing to the expenses young women will incur while in college. With March being Women's History Month, it is with great pleasure that CNPR announces they have partnered with The Ezer Agency and Girls for A Change (GFAC) to establish the "CNPR Future Publicist Scholarship."
As a Black woman, Candice is familiar with the absence of scholarships and funding opportunities that are available specifically for young Black women and more specifically, those who aspire to be in Public Relations. Through the "CNPR Future Publicist Scholarship," CNPR is looking forward to seeing the futures of these young women blossom and take the industry by storm.
"I am elated about the launch of the scholarship during a very significant month for Women! As I am a proud Black woman entrepreneur, I am also very proud of being an Alumnus of an HBCU, Morgan State University. With one of my scholarships going to a young lady attending Morgan, it makes this experience that much more beautiful. It is so important to give back and to provide opportunity for young Black women. I am looking forward to seeing these future Publicists shine with the assistance of Candice Nic0le Public Relations" says Candice.
The scholarship is for Black girls currently enrolled in the GFAC Girl Ambassador Program, a workforce development program for high school girls designed to prepare them for the future of work. This scholarship will help provide the financial means for the girls to pursue higher education and their dreams.
Investing a total of $10,000 in scholarship funds, other Black entrepreneurs including The Ezer Agency, MissionKey Communications, LLC, and Author Mia Brabham have also created scholarships through the GFAC nonprofit.
