LONG-TIME RADIO PROFESSIONAL MAKES CAREER CHANGE

    /24-7PressRelease/ - MEDFORD, OR, April 30, 2008 - A radio personality and award-winning commercial producer has cut his ties with corporate ownership to pursue his own business.

Derek Shetterly, a.k.a. "Derek Adams," started in radio in 1985. He is a 1988 graduate from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale with a Bachelor of Arts in Radio and Television. He worked a variety of shifts for radio stations in Illinois, Missouri, South Dakota, California, and ultimately landing in Oregon. His specialty was commercial concept and creation, and has earned the Radio Advertising Bureau's "Certified Professional Commercial Copywriter" designation.

In 2001, he and his wife Christina Shetterly launched Wooly Bugger Productions, LLC (WBP). WBP is a full-service voice-over company, offering over 125 professional voice actors, including Spanish translation and voice-over services, as well as script writing and full audio production.

Wooly Bugger Productions was a Gold Winner in the 2005 Summit Creative Awards competition. Derek Shetterly won an ADDY Award for voice over in 2005, and the Oregon Association of Broadcasters "Best Commercial Spot" 2nd Place, 2003.

On April 7th, Derek joined his wife in their studio to devote his energies full-time to Wooly Bugger Productions, and his independent voice-acting career.
