New Dance Studio to Open in Seminole August 23, 2021

The Seminole facility is Twinkle Star Dance's first franchise location, and it is owned and operated by Stefanie Valentine, the former owner of Starstruck Dance Studio since 2002. Stefanie has lived in Seminole for the past 35 years and over this time has realized the need for quality, professional dance training, particularly for preschool dancers ages 2-6.

Stefanie said, "I wanted to open a studio that would serve everyone in the area from children to aspiring professionals. Twinkle Star Dance Academy is a place where everyone can feel comfortable to come to study dance, whether you have been dancing for years, are just starting out, are looking to get back into it, or are just looking for a fun alternative to other activities. It's particularly important today, as many of our young children have experienced depression, anxiety and fear caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. They need to be around their friends, doing creative and athletic things in order to feel normal again. Dance is a safe and great way to become part of a loving community. The residents of the area have a great appreciation for the arts and I hope to add to the art scene in the area by providing quality dance instruction to its residents."

Stefanie Valentine is a highly trained dancer and dance instructor with over 22 years of teaching experience. TSDA is easily accessible and boasts plenty of convenient parking. It is located at the corner of 131st St N, and Park Blvd N in the Portobello Square shopping center. TSDA offers a large dance studio with a sprung, wooden floor, marley flooring and high ceilings as well as waiting and dressing areas. The weekly classes begin on August 23, 2021 with a more comprehensive schedule beginning in Sept. of 2021. TSDA will produce two winter performances this December called Nutcracker Suite, and Dancing Holiday Magic. In May, 2022 TSDA will hold an annual recital. They will also offer additional performance opportunities to its more serious students through their performance company which will hold auditions in the fall.
