Ford Formally Files for Congress In Texas' 38th Congressional District

    HOUSTON, TX, December 02, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Today first responder and successful businessman Jerry Ford formally announced his candidacy for Texas' 38th Congressional District.

"Texans need affordability. Runaway inflation is crippling household budgets. As a successful businessman, I have the experience we need in Washington to stop Biden inflation. With Ford, you get affordability," said Ford. "Over the past month, I have been receiving great encouragement to run. People like that I have a proud record as a first responder for Houston. They know I have a proven track record. Moreover, they like that I have the experience in signing the front of a paycheck. They understand at this cross section in time we need business and fiscal management experience in DC."

"As a father, I want to make sure our children have the better opportunities and the same freedoms we have had. Unfortunately, our nation that is under attack from within. Our way of life is being threatened by the wokeness culture, socialist Democrats, and the defund the police movement. I want to go to Washington to put our nation on the right track where our borders are secure, our rights are protected and our wallets are safe again," said Ford.

Ford retired from the Houston Fire Department where he served as the Assistant Fire Chief. He has owned and operated multiple successful businesses.

Ford is the only candidate who has a serious plan on ending illegal immigration. He has also opposed the Biden's administration plans to pay illegals who were separated at the border.

Ford has taken the No New Taxes pledge. Like Senator Ted Cruz, he supports Congressional Term Limits.
