New Cafe & Eatery Hits Greenwich Avenue

    GREENWICH, CT, December 09, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Daily Cafe and Eatery is a new entry into fast casual dining located at the bottom of Greenwich Avenue next to the Apple Store. Daily is the creation of Debra Ponzek, the successful co-owner of the Aux Delices Gourmet Food Stores. The concept is the same - create great gourmet flavors that can be enjoyed by those with little time and a discerning palette. Although the concept will feel familiar to that of Aux Delices, the surroundings and menu are completely new and distinct. The location has a clean, modern European feel designed by co-owners SBP Homes and the menu is inspired by renowned chefs and restaurants around the world.

Breakfast favorites include blueberry coconut overnight oats, roasted tomato frittata and Tex Mex burritos. Their small-batch coffee is roasted by local roaster Ammirati Coffee. Daily also makes a wide array of espresso drinks such as the toasted marshmallow latte and espresso tonic. Some interesting lunch favorites to try are the Aleppo Pork hot sandwich with a walnut Romesco spread, the Mushreuben, a vegetarian take on the familiar sandwich or the Basic Chick with roasted chicken, Tillamook cheddar cheese, applewood smoked bacon and roasted tomato spread. Daily recently launched new items including chicken pot pie, turkey chili, mac and cheese, and flatbreads. Dessert is not to be missed - try one of their fresh baked cookies, a bittersweet chocolate brownie or a slice of their homestyle cake.

Daily has indoor and outdoor seating as well as online ordering through GrubHub or Toast. Daily is open Monday through Saturday 7:00 to 5:00 and 9:00 to 4:00 on Sundays.
