Aptude's Chief Architect Teaches Power Platform at Chattahoochee Technical College

    ATLANTA, GA, December 30, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Earlier this month, Aptude's Chief Architect, Erich DeJesus, taught a course on the Power Platform at Chattahoochee Technical College. As part of an ongoing series that introduces students to the Microsoft Power Platform and prepares them for careers in the technology field, DeJesus provided demos on the different Power Platform tools and how they can best be leveraged in a business environment.

The course covered basic computing skills, an in-depth review of Microsoft Power Platform, and then how data is created, compiled, and analyzed using Power BI. Using real-world examples, the materials, which were also created by DeJesus and have been taught since 2019, have been successfully shared with over 100+ students.

"Using Power BI and social media data, Mr. DeJesus showed how an algorithm can be made to track specific keywords. For instance, a practical application for such an algorithm is to search trending Tweets or Facebook posts and then use that for the purposes of marketing," said a student who went through the program.

"Helping students learn how to use Power BI and other Microsoft applications to compile and sort varying data points allows them to get to analysis quickly, and then use that analysis to inform great decisions.
