Virtual Press Conference Held for European Journalists Amidst Shincheonji's Seminar Craze

    GWACHEON, KOREA, March 03, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Shincheonji Church's seminars that are livestreamed for free from the Church's official YouTube channel have reached 10 million views, and have become a topic of conversation among the Christian world in Korea (location of the church's headquarters) and abroad. To discuss these seminars and their gaining popularity, Shincheonji Chairman Man-hee Lee hosted a press conference for European journalists who have taken interest in the church's approach to sharing the word.

The conference was held on February 18th on Zoom, and comes after other press conferences had been held for North and South America and Africa.

Shincheonji Chairman Man-hee Lee explained the reason for giving the seminars and broadcasting them on YouTube, which outline in detail the prophecy and the fulfillment of the book of Revelation in the Bible. Chairman Lee also discussed how he saw and heard the full story of the book of Revelation and that it is the reason for his faith.

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic and most churches shrinking in size, the Shincheonji Church has grown by tens of thousands of members in Korea and worldwide over the past 2 years. The Chairman mentioned that the reason for this growth is "because we did what God told us to do", which is explaining the prophecies of Revelation in the Bible and their fulfillment based on what he has seen and heard.

One of these examples of the Revelation prophecies is the "666" or "mark of the beast" that Christians are especially curious about. He said, "666 is an expression found in Revelation 13. Like Solomon in the Old Testament, he betrayed God and put the mark of the beast on the forehead and the right hand of the saints in the heavenly tabernacle today. I saw it, and I can name who the person is. The mark on the forehead was made by false shepherds who ruled the religious world at the time, and ordained a person who did not go to seminary as a pastor. He raised his hand and took an oath to acknowledge the doctrine, and became a pastor."

Pastors who attended the press conference or saw the recorded video commented on the testimony given by Chairman Lee. One pastor from France said, "I was very impressed by the way he testified without even looking at the book of Revelation."

Since the seminars were broadcasted live, there have been dozens of churches in Europe making MOUs (Memorandum of Understanding) with Shincheonji Church and requesting Shincheonji instructors to come and teach their congregations about the prophecies and fulfillment of the book of Revelation.
