Celebrate Women's History Month with Everywhere Wireless

In the last 100 years, women have fought for and earned the right to vote, serve on the Supreme Court, travel to space, serve in the armed forces with honor, and govern as Vice President of the United States. The path for women has been paved by years of hard work and determination and will continue with women who constantly challenge themselves, others, and the status quo.

In celebration of Women's History Month, Everywhere Wireless is excited to celebrate the incredible women who contribute to our growth and success, share some of our exciting new initiatives, and acknowledge the amazing strides we have made in becoming an inclusive and equal employer.

2021 was an exciting time for Everywhere Wireless- we welcomed 27 new faces, 11 of which were women! Our organization has made a commitment to culture, diversity, and inclusion as an important part of who we are as a company, and we are proud to say that we have more than quadrupled the percentage of our staff identifying as female in 2021. We continue to work towards raising this number and have no doubt 2022 will bring even more amazing women into our work family.

In committing to making culture, diversity, and inclusion a top priority, we have been lucky to have been able to offer international internships through CHINET. These internships have brought us not only invaluable insight into some amazing cultures, but it has also brought us some of the incredible women that make up our family. These ladies have come in and embodied what it means to be strong, smart, and powerful women and they are invaluable assets as members of our family.

In continuing our commitment for 2022 and beyond, Everywhere Wireless has created a Women's Committee that will kick off in March and will allow for a safe and unique space for our women to express themselves and support each other by bringing together their strengths and fostering growth professionally, as well as cultivating meaningful and impactful relationships within our communities. In fields that are male dominant, it is especially important to have a strong and positive female allyship to contribute to an inclusive and diverse workplace. Through this committee, our women will not only grow internally but will partner with local boards and foundations who support women in business. In addition, they will be able to receive mentorship from strong, successful women – and ultimately become mentors themselves. With this committee, we hope to strengthen our passion of supporting women, and being one of Chicago's most female friendly workplaces.
