ISITC Presents Jan Snitzer with Standard of Excellence Award

    BRIDGEWATER, NJ, March 23, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- ISITC, the industry trade group focused on developing standards and best practices in financial services operations, announced Jan Snitzer, Vice President at Loomis, Sayles & Co., as the recipient of the 2022 ISITC Standard of Excellence Award. The award was presented to Snitzer by Chair Kristin Hochstein, Immediate Past Chair Lisa Iagatta, and Past Chair Erica Borghi during ISITC's 28th Annual Securities Operations Summit in Boston on March 20-22, 2022.

The Standard of Excellence Award recognizes an individual who has made a significant contribution to the industry and rendered exceptional service to ISITC, which is supported by the voluntary services of industry professionals. The recipient is chosen annually by a committee of select ISITC board members, led by the Immediate Past Chair, Lisa Iagatta. Snitzer was selected as the recipient of the award due the invaluable contribution she has made as an ISITC member for over two decades.

Snitzer joined ISITC in 2000 as a Co-Chair of the Investment Manager Forum. In 2005, she joined the newly-formed Alternative Commissions Working Group, helping to publish the group's market practice on Communication of Alternative Commission Details. Snitzer was elected to the Board shortly thereafter in 2007, and became an Executive Sponsor to the Investment Manager Forum and the Alternative Commissions Working Group.

In 2009, Snitzer assumed an officer position, serving first as the Second Vice Chair and First Vice Chair before being selected for a two-year term as ISITC's Chair in 2012 and 2013. She assumed the role of Immediate Past Chair for another two-year term, where she served simultaneously as Board Advisor to Erica Borghi during Borghi's term as the new Chair.
