Raise The Voices of Women in Midlife & Beyond

    ALBUQUERQUE, NM, April 05, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Beginning as early as age 40, hormonal changes can start altering the female voice. Bos has organized a first-of-its-kind international conference, Celebrate Singing (CS) For Women In Midlife & Beyond, designed to bring together singers, choral directors, and singing teachers in community to learn how to make these the best years for a woman's voice.

Through a series of recorded and live workshops, participants will learn:
~ How specific singers' journeys have empowered others to boost their vocal health.
~ How to enhance the physical and neurological changes that can cause the voice to noticeably slow down.
~ How to optimize food choices for women and specifically for their voices.

~ Why aging and menopause affect the voice differently and what it means for women.
~ The best mind-body connection methods to keep the voice strong.

With her professional connections in the United States, the UK, Europe, and Australia, in the areas of vocal pedagogy, laryngology, speech language pathology, vocal research, psychology, somatic education, yoga, naturopathy, acting, and performance, Bos has created the Celebrate Singing event division of StudioBos. Celebrate Singing for Women in Midlife & Beyond is led by Katherine Austinson, who has assembled 14 global professional singers, researchers, academicians, and more to present workshops. The conference begins on April 23 following World Voice Day.

2022 CS Spotlight Singer Mezzo-Soprano Alexis Davis-Hazell from Alabama, high-performance coach Jan Carley from British Columbia, and other incredible speakers from around the globe will present to participants.
