Slim & Powerful DAC, Enjoy Lossless Hi-Fi Audio.
LOS ANGELES, CA, July 28, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Khadas Tea is an elegantly designed DAC/AMP with an ultra-slim design and super compact size. With a good pair of IEMs or headphones, the sound quality is refreshing and clear. Being made out of a single piece of aluminum, the build quality is solid and robust. Tea's colorful aluminum and glass shell and inbuilt MagSafe connection mean it is the perfect companion for your iPhone.
With outstanding quality and innovative design, Tea has positioned itself for those who value both sound quality and portability. With serious specifications and the power to meet most on-the-go enthusiasts and audiophile requirements, this is a remarkable achievement.
TECH HIGHLIGHTS
Tea is a portable DAC amp with a single ES9281ACPRO DAC implementation. It is capable of decoding up to 32bit/384kHz and DSD256 PCM data streams, as well as MQA rendering. It also comes with a Qualcomm QCC 5125 Bluetooth receiver chip that supports aptX and LDAC codecs with a maximum decoding resolution of 24bit/96kHz.
Tea doesn't function like regular dongle DACs. Instead, it comes with an internal 1160mAh battery that can last for up to 8h, so it won't drain your phone. It's also MagSafe compatible, which means it can be attached to anything with a metal plate; stacking devices together with rubber bands is now a thing of the past.
Design
One of the highlights of Tea is its slim design. Being less than 6.25mm thick, Tea attaches easily to the back of your iPhone with MagSafe or an Android phone with a metal plate. With a width and depth of 95.5mm x 95.5mhm x 63.8mm, the Tea is not particularly small, but it's easy to hide behind your phone. Tea's aluminum body comes in gray and blue. There are only 3 buttons on the tea, one on the left and two on the right. Both input and output ports are located at the bottom for ease of access.
Low Profile I/O
Tea is designed to be portable and invisible. As a result, the USB Type-C input and 3.5mm jack output are streamlined with the exterior. The only other input option for Tea is the Bluetooth connection, which supports LDAC and AptXHD.
CONTROLS
The left button on the Tea functions like a power button, and if you press it for 6 seconds, Tea will turn off. Use the 2 buttons on the right as the up and down volume buttons.
Pressing the left and up buttons simultaneously will cause the volume rocker to function as the next/previous track. Pressing the left and down buttons simultaneously will enable/disable USB-C charging. To enter Bluetooth pairing mode, press the left button for 3 seconds.
In addition to the buttons, Tea also has an LED light in the lower left corner. This is used as an indicator of the device's state. It flashes rapidly in pairing mode and then pulses blue after a Bluetooth connection has been successfully set up. The LED is also used to indicate the file format, battery status, and mode setting confirmation.

About Khadas
"Think different, act different, be different, and make a difference." – Khadas
Khadas (Khadas Technology Co., Ltd.) focuses on developing, manufacturing, and marketing superior quality, high-performance Amlogic and Rockchip single-board computers (SBCs) for the open-source community, as well as DACs and headphone amplifiers for the streaming media player industry. Most recently, Khadas added more audio products to their lineup, including the Tone2 Pro Hi-Fi DAC and Khadas Tea.
The "Khadas Tone1" is our first DAC for the open source audio market. It's excellent performance and $99 price tag created a huge buzz in the foreign audiophiles market, and left a deep impression on them.
"Khadas Tone2 Pro" is our first product for general Hi-Fi consumers, and it sports a stylish and modern design. Audiophile reviews claim that the performance of our $200 DAC is far better than the $400-$600 products of the same type on the market.
The introduction of Khadas' patented "balanced RCA" technology is of great importance to the audio connector industry. Existing RCA connectors are single-ended only, which made them very susceptible to electromagnetic noise in the environment. Khadas' "Balanced RCA" connectors include an auxiliary inverted audio channel that shields equipment from ambient electromagnetic noise whilst transmitting high-quality analog audio signals over long distances.
Now it's time for Khadas Tea to rock the market!
