Selectees For The 2022 Military Spouse Leadership Development Program Announced

    SAN ANTONIO, TX, August 19, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Military Spouse Advocacy Network (MSAN), with presenting sponsor Defense Credit Union Council (DCUC), is delighted to announce the 50 military spouses selected for the 2022 cohort of the Military Spouse Leadership Development Program (MSLDP).

The tremendous success of MSLDP's inaugural cohort in 2021 encouraged more than 900 military spouses to pursue one of 50 vacancies in 2022.

Selectees were asked to submit professional resumes, personal references, and engage in MSAN's Mentorship-HUB. Candidates were selected based on their personal and professional commitment to leadership, exemplary community improvement, dedication to lifelong learning, and strong desire to influence their communities positively.

The cohort will complete a virtual four-month training program focused on learning the fundamentals of leadership, service, advocacy, and mentorship from world-renowned institutions and professionals, impactful voices in the community, and support from MSLDP alum. Verenice Castillo, MSAN's Founder & CEO, shared her excitement about MSLDP's 2022 cohort: "Military Spouses are considered movers and shakers because of their service, leadership, mentorship, and advocacy for the change they want to see in their communities. The first MSLDP cohort was an overwhelming success thanks to support from our steadfast partners, Caliber Home Loans and Lockheed Martin.
