I didn't want this to be a happily ever after, ride off into the sunset fairy tale. I want it to be a true love song, a promise I can keep.
CLIFFSIDE PARK, NJ, August 30, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Indie singer-songwriter Seth Hilary Jackson, is all about making amends in his new love song, "I Wanna Make You Happy".
"This song actually a sequel to "The Worst Thing" that I released last year, a song about mistakes and regrets", says Seth Jackson, owner of Row Town Music. "The new song is about a second chance. It's an apology, a thank you, and a promise. I didn't want this to be a happily ever after, ride off into the sunset fairy tale. I want it to be a true love song, a promise I can keep."
Seth's signature sound is a unique blend of classic rock, pop, and country; his songs cover a range of subjects from relationships to mental health to politics. If there's an overall theme, it would be, "Embrace the dark, move toward the light." A successful songwriter for more than 20 years, Seth has written for many independent artists, and his songs have been featured in movies and TV shows. One of his proudest moments came when his tribute to a war hero, "Pfc Ross A. McGinnis," led to a Presidential invitation to the White House.
Originally from Brooklyn, Seth's first musical love was Beatles. His older brother, who plays several instruments, encouraged him to write his first song during Seth's final semester at the Wharton School, where he earned his MBA. The second song he ever wrote received airplay on WAAF-FM in Boston, which got him started on the road to a career in songwriting. He relocated to California pursue his dream of a hit song and returned back East to New Jersey 30 years later.
