    MCALLEN, TX, October 18, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Texas native Gabrielle Becker recently joined D. Miller & Associates, PLLC® as a sexual assault civil trial attorney. She will work on the firm's Litigation Team in her new role, helping survivors of sexual abuse seek justice. Becker pursued her passion for fighting sexual abuse crimes while working at the Comal County Criminal District Attorney's Office. During her time with the office's Special Victims Unit, she secured several life sentences against individuals charged with sex crimes.

From Criminal Prosecution to Civil Law

Before working at Comal County, she served at the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office for five years. During her time there, she tried criminal cases involving aggravated assaults, family violence, and internet crimes against children. Becker also served in the Vehicular Crimes Unit, where she prosecuted at-fault motorists in traffic accidents that caused catastrophic injuries.

Becker received her law degree from the South Texas College of Law in Houston. When she was a student there, she was a member of the Mock Trial Court Team and was active on the Board of Advocates and in the Hispanic Law Student Association. She pursued her interest in law as an undergraduate student, studying and earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice at Texas State University in San Marcos. Becker speaks fluent Spanish and English and has traveled to Europe and South America, where she studied abroad.

Gabrielle's diverse work background will bring experience and innovative thinking to the firm's Litigation Team.
