ATLANTA, GA, March 24, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- From eleven-time nominated and seven-time NAACP Theatre Award winning Writer and Producer Kinnik Sky, comes her new gripping Dramedy, PEACE BE STILL!
PEACE BE STILL is the sequel to her two-time award winning play PIECES that left audiences applauding in awe with so many amazing praises about the stage play, such as "PIECES is a theatrical masterpiece that left me on the edge of my seat."
Let's break down the storyline: Nile Winters has it all. She's driven, well-educated, and has a fulfilling career. Her life is enriched by the presence of an affectionate twin brother, an overly involved but caring mother, and three lively and devoted best friends who provide her with an abundance of support, humor, and love. However, despite all this, she feels a sense of incompleteness: she longs for a life partner.
After overcoming the turmoil of a forbidden love affair with a married patient, she sought forgiveness from God and from herself. Once she had undergone this internal journey, she found love in the arms of a much younger suitor. Despite investing three years in this relationship, it also ended in disappointment, leaving her feeling like she was once again denied her happily ever after. Just when it seemed that her past would forever haunt her, Nile was surprised with a proposal. Instead of focusing on the challenges from her past, she found herself planning her wedding. She doesn't get to focus on planning the wedding because the proposal leads to whole new set of problems when the demons from her past come back to haunt her.
Will Nile finally find the peace and love she has been seeking, or will she remain ensnared in the fragments of a broken heart?

Sky's script digs into so much truth about relationships and the actors deliver the characters so convincingly, that I forgot I was in a theater and had to stop myself from interrupting." -Alan Duke CNN Entertainment Reporter
