Plastic surgeon Maakan Taghizadeh named a 2024 Castle Connolly Top Doctor

Dr. Taghizadeh earned his medical degree at University of Maryland School of Medicine. After completing both a four-year surgery residency and a three-year plastic surgery residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, he completed a one-year fellowship in advanced microsurgical breast reconstruction and aesthetic surgery at Baltimore's Mercy Medical Center.

He is affiliated with multiple surgery centers in the Baltimore area as well as Mercy Medical Center and Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital, also in Baltimore.
