South American Wines are taking on a life of their own and Tango Wine is ahead of the curve once again. Tango Wine Company in San Diego will be hosting a Casa Lapostolle (Chile) Tasting on Thursday, July 24th: 6:30 - 8:00 featuring 7 unique and tasty wines.
Casa Lapostolle was founded by the Marnier Lapostolle family from France and the Rabat family from Chile in 1994, through Alexandra Marnier Lapostolle, her husband Cyril de Bournet and Don Jose Rabat Gorchs. The Marnier Lapostolle family, founders and owners of the world-renowned liqueur Grand Marnier, are known for producing spirits and liqueurs, but the family has been also involved in winemaking for generations. We will be tasting Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot in this 7 wines and light fare for only $15.

July and August will feature a full two months of wine tastings. Beyond the Casa Lapostolle tasting there will be an Alamos Vineyards (Argentina) tasting on August 7th as well as a tasting event featuring the very high end Tikal and Luca wines also of Argentina.
