Ms. Doty's six years of professional development experience complements her 25 years of administrative management experience. As Vice President of Development and Marketing for Community Services for the Blind and Partially Sighted, she takes a lead role in fundraising efforts, establishing contacts, diversifying the revenue base and seeking grant funding. Her priority is to provide vision rehabilitation services and assistance to the visually-impaired so they are able to maintain independent lifestyles. She attributes her success to her passion for her profession.
Ms. Doty is currently pursuing her Master's Degree in Management - Non-Profit Leadership at New England College. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Women's Studies from San Francisco State University and completed certification in non-profit management at the University of Illinois. Her professional affiliations include the Snohomish County Senior Consortium, and National Council on Aging. Ms. Doty is committed to diversifying the funding base for visually impaired people to assure the continuation of programs and services.
