She received her Bachelor's Degree in Women's Studies from San Francisco State University and completed certification in non-profit management at the University of Illinois. Her professional affiliations include the Snohomish County Senior Consortium, and National Council on Aging. Ms. Doty is committed to diversifying the funding base for visually impaired people to assure the continuation of programs and services.
