SCRIBE INSIGHT PROVIDES CONFERON WITH ONE SOURCE FOR CUSTOMER INFORMATION

Conferon Global Services (CGS) is headquartered in Twinsburg, OH with regional offices across the country. CGS is a unified source for comprehensive event management including site selection and analysis, venue contract negotiations, registration and housing, lead retrieval, and trade show management. CGS needed to find a way to give its expanding company access to the information needed to streamline work, make better decisions and provide outstanding customer service.

"Everything starts in SalesLogix," said David Peckinpaugh, CGS's Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "We needed a way to move data both into and out of SalesLogix, especially invoicing information. The nature of our business drives complex invoicing as we are often working with multiple vendors." Sales managers also needed accurate information for pipeline management and budgeting purposes. "Multiple people touch each account," said Peckinpaugh. "We have to provide one source for the information in order to provide outstanding service."

The Scribe implementation went very smoothly. Conferon engaged Xpert Business Solutions of Akron, OH, a certified Elite Reseller for Scribe Insight, to develop the field mappings and implement the integration processes between SalesLogix and their back office accounting system, Great Plains. CGS also has to store information on its clients for several years for reference. "With SalesLogix we were able to build this functionality into the system and Scribe allows us to pull the required data from Great Plains," said Patrick DiLullo, Manager of Enteroprise Sales Technology for CGS.
