Marilyn J. Jordan Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry

    LIBERTY, IN, October 10, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marilyn J. Jordan, Seventh-Grade English Teacher at Union County Middle School, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of education.

Ms. Jordan has 39 years of professional experience with Union County Middle School. Her expertise lies in grammar and she is responsible for teaching literature and writing, preparing students for tests, developing curriculum, evaluating each student's progress, and assisting replacement teachers. Ms. Jordan was honored with the Indiana English Teacher of the Year Award in 1991, the Most Outstanding Teacher Award and was recognized by Who's Who Among American Teachers. Her desire to help students and make a difference in their lives inspired her to become involved in her profession.

Ms. Jordan received her Master of Education in 1976 and is a member of the National Middle School Organization, the National English Language Teachers' Association, the National Education Association, and the Indiana Education Association Inc. After she retires from teaching, Ms. Jordan aspires to establish a retail clothing store.
