Michalina Diana Zawilla Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry

    CHICAGO, IL, October 10, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Michalina Diana Zawilla, Director of Community Relations for Sunlight of the Spirit, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of nonprofit management.

Ms. Zawilla brings more than six years of professional experience to Sunlight of the Spirit, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing assistance and empowerment to the homeless, ex-convicts, low-income individuals, former addicts and other disenfranchised groups in transition. As director of community relations, she is responsible for overseeing operations of the food pantry, community garden, annual hunger walk, thrift shop, and alternative healing and resource centers. Additionally, she writes grants, manages teams and organizes fundraisers. Ms. Zawilla attributes her success to her compassionate nature and earnest desire to help, and to the inspiration she received from her own family, who were committed servants of their community.

A graduate of the University of Iowa, Ms. Zawilla earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications in 2007. She is currently pursuing her Master's Degree in Special Education at the University of Phoenix. She aspires to start a nonprofit daycare center for families and children with special needs.
