After graduating from Rutgers University (Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa) in 1993, Mr. Friedman decided to enter Brooklyn Law School, where he received his Juris Doctor in 1996. He is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and the Phi Beta Kappa Society. In addition, Mr. Friedman is a board member of the Theodore Roosevelt Council for the Boy Scouts of America, serving over 12,000 youth in Nassau and Suffolk Counties in New York, and is general counsel to, and a member of, the Board of Directors of The Friends of Long Island Wresting, a not for profit organization. He also serves on the New York City Bar Association's Pro Bono Panel, has lectured for the New York State Bar Association, and still makes time to coach wrestling and soccer in his community. Most recently, Mr. Friedman has received a Pro Bono Panel Award for Excellent Service in 2008.
