Ms. Murphy specializes in family and marriage counseling and is responsible for supervising interns and staff that serve at-risk youth and seeing private clients in the evening. Her interest in psychology prompted her to enter the field. Ms. Murphy, the recipient of the Special Achievement Award from Mental Health Systems in 2007, attributes her success to her hard work, caring nature and passion for her profession.

A licensed family and marriage therapist, Ms. Murphy received her Master's Degree in Psychology from Chapman University in 2002. She is affiliated with the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and volunteers with the Helen Woodward Animal Shelter.
