Dr. Noland brings 25 years of professional teaching experience to Coweta Public Schools. As a third grade teacher, he is responsible for teaching all core subjects including reading and math. According to him, motivating children to learn is one of the toughest challenges facing the education field today, and he addresses this issue in his classrooms by making his lessons fun. A strong believer in digital classrooms, Dr. Noland has created an interactive classroom for his third graders, utilizing smart boards and computer technology to encourage reading, math and science studies. A magna cum laude graduate of Oklahoma State University, Dr. Noland holds an Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Reading and Special Education, and a Master's Degree in Reading. His affiliations include the International Reading Association, the National Education Association and the Oklahoma Education Association. He also volunteers his time at children's summer camps and at activities organized by the American Red Cross and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
