VISTA, CA, October 24, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- John M. Calhoun, Tax Research and Arbitration Center, has been named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Tax Consulting and Asset Protection. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Cambridge Who's Who membership.
Dr. Calhoun has more than 50 years of professional experience. He is responsible for researching tax and civil laws, speaking at tax training conferences, and writing articles. The most rewarding aspects of his career are meeting his clients' demands and briefing them on HR 1410, which allows home office deduction for home-based businesses and certain employees. Persistence, dedication and a strong work ethic are the driving forces behind his success. Dr. Calhoun has published three United States tax publications and several articles on home-based business operations, "Diet Control for Obese-Hypertensive Patients" and Church Led Evangelism Ministries." He is also the author of "Congressional HR 1410", signed into law by President Ronald Reagan.
