Linda Bouchard Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry

    SAN FRANCISCO, CA, October 24, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Linda Bouchard, Composer and Artistic Director of NEXMAP, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of music direction.

With more than 27 years of professional experience, Ms. Bouchard specializes in music direction, composition and orchestration, production of special events and overseeing educational programs and workshops. Her interest in producing and composing prompted her to become involved in her profession. Ms. Bouchard is a composer of 80 pieces and continues to compose two to five new works each year. She is a winner of the Princeton composition contest, a five-time winner of the SOCAN Composition Award and received the FROMM Foundation Award and a Prix "Opus" for Best Composer of the Year. She credits her success to her hard work and her ability in building relationship with people.

Ms. Bouchard received her Master's Degree in Composition from The Manhattan School of Music in New York. She is affiliated with The American Music Center, The Canadian Music Center, The American Composer's Forum and SOCAN. She volunteers for local charitable organizations.
