/24-7PressRelease/ - September 16, 2005 - Edmonton, Alberta, Canada ~ Family Productions Inc. is gearing up for this fall's Edmonton Woman's Show, taking place on October 15th and 16th at Northlands AgriCom in Edmonton, Alberta. More than 12,000 people (mostly women) are expected to check out exhibitors' products, entertainment, foods and Authors' Row.
The Fall Show will see the first Authors' Row, which was organized by Augusta Reinich, assistant producer for the event, and Edmonton mystery author, Cheryl Kaye Tardif. Authors' Row will feature a total of five local area authors, who will be autographing and selling their books, just in time for the Christmas season.
One of these authors is Sue Paulson, an inspirational speaker and award-winning author. Raised a staunch Albertan, she is fond of saying that she was born talking. Not only does she love to talk, she loves to teach others how to speak up, speak out, and succeed. For over twenty years, Paulson has been delighting audiences as a facilitator, a speaker, and a coach. A part-time instructor at Grant MacEwan since 1996, she has taught public speaking, business writing, and study skills.
Through her training and publishing business, FingerTip Solutions, she conducts workshops that help people learn and grow both personally and professionally. Her 'how-to' mindset has produced two books: Tips and Tools for Student Success, an Edmonton Bestseller, and Tips and Tools to Speak With Confidence. The Speak With Confidence book recently won a North American award, capturing first place over 42 other books in the Self-Help category.
"Parents worried about their kids' marks need to know that help with study skills is available locally. And, of course, adults ready to learn better speaking skills can benefit from the coaching and workshops I do," says Paulson. She views the Edmonton Woman's Show as a key opportunity to showcase her products and services.
Other authors on Authors' Row include Jackson Carter, Joyce Harries, Lorna Schultz Nicholson and Cheryl Kaye Tardif. Writers' resources will be available for aspiring authors at Cheryl Kaye Tardif's booth, including publishing guides from Trafford Publishing and brochures from the WGA and CWC.
