"SCORM 2004 is another tool to deliver, track and manage online training. We are extremely pleased that we are officially recognized as a SCORM 2004 certified product."
By following the SCORM 2004 standard for learning management software development, TrainCaster LMS gives its clients a method to reuse learning content, provide learners with a prescriptive training plan, and develop learning content using third party tools, such as Macromedia's Captivate. "Developing quality learning modules takes time and planning," noted Lynn Stockdale, executive Vice President of TrainCaster. "Implementing a SCORM 2004 course is no different in terms of development - its greatest impact is felt when the content can be repackaged for use to meet a different learning objective. That is the greatest benefit, and also the greatest challenge of SCORM 2004."
