LITTLETON, CO, April 11, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Country Singer/Songwriter Brian Walton may have scored a hit as his newest single "I Love my Truck," released only a week ago, is receiving a lot of national airplay and buzz.
"It's his most commercial effort to date and a perfect crossover hit," says George Strophopolis owner of Sony records partner Blue Rhino who went on to say that the entire album "Kickin' it" demonstrates Brian has honed his songwriting and music production skills to the point of commercial viability and, most important, marketability.
Brian's previous album "Made in the Shade Live!" recorded during his 2007 US tour was met with warm reviews, but never made it beyond the 80th spot on the US indie charts. His newest release is already in the top 50.
Brian, who studied at Julliard, performs and produces all of his own material in his studio in Denver, Colorado. He's been an ASCAP and Songwriters Guild member for over 20 years with an impressive 400 plus titles to his credit.
His 2009 US Tour is almost booked out with performances in Austin Texas, Cheyenne Wyoming, Nashville Tennessee and, of course, in Denver Colorado. He will, once again, enlist the Help of old friends and Nashville players; Ron Sweet (Bass and Vocals), Jeff McNair (Drums and Vocals), Tory Alliance (Keys/Acoustic/Fiddle) to provide the backline. Brian will take over the Lead Guitar duties for missing Guitarist Ron Schwer who had to bow out due to health issues.
